We can’t do it alone.  Phew!  That’s a big admission right there! However it’s entirely true!  It takes a village, not only to make a wedding day to come to life, but also to keep our studio working in an efficient and organized manor.  

That, my friends, is my sad little attempt at introducing the fact that WE’RE HIRING!  I need an extra set of hands in the studio this summer and am looking for a Studio Assistant.

Some of the tasks this assistant may be in charge:

• Washing buckets, vases & candle holders
• Preparing vases for florals
• Assisting with social media content
• General studio cleaning and organizing
• Tracking inventory and reordering supplies
• Assisting with the preparation of outgoing orders
• Occasional flower deliveries and assistance on event set-ups and post event tear-down
• Various other wedding/flower related creative projects and errands
• And other tasks as the need may arise

This ideal candidate will be organized and bring a creative energy with them. This person should be local to the Harbor Springs area and available a couple days a week, some Saturday work is required.  The schedule can be somewhat flexible as long as you’re able to meet certain deadlines for tasks.   Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license is needed.

This is not a floral design position, it’s a supporting role.  No prior experience in the floral industry is necessary, however an interest in flowers and/or event work is helpful.
