You know that feeling when you walk into a space - a home, a hotel, even a little corner cafe - and it just feels right? It's like it's been there forever, quietly gathering stories.  It's inviting but elevated, classic with a fresh twist and somehow both relaxed and refined. That's the magic of thoughtful design - it sets the mood, tells a story and makes a space feel like it truly belongs.

about us

No.1

With over 15 years in the design world, Shelby has built a career on creating beautiful spaces that feel as good as they look.  She's known for her love of mixing patterns and florals, her knack for finding the perfect antique and her deep appreciation for historic homes and classic design.

Her style is all about layering - elevated but never fussy, polished yet lived in.  Whether it's a centuries-old estate home or cozy cottage, Shelby believes in letting the home's natural character shine through. She steers clear of fleeting trends, focusing instead on timeless design that complements the unique story of each space.

At the heart of her work is a simple belief: your home should tell your story.  It should feel personal, welcoming and be the  truest reflection of the people who live there.

my grandpa huffed that if I wouldn't learn to cook, I'd have to marry a chef. So I did. Fast forward 20 years - I'm cranking out sourdough, steak and homemade cheez-its like a domestic goddess while my chef husband conveniently forgets where we keep the mixing bowls.  Joke's on you Grandpa!  Sort of.
